Episode 9: Morphological errors
Hello folks! This week we are investigating how morphological errors create semantic errors in English. This was a bit trickier to explain than I had anticipated, so I hope it will all make sense to you. I’d love to hear how you deal with morphological errors when you are marking student/pupil work. Do you tend mark morphological errors as spelling errors or word form errors? How do you think your students/pupils would respond to a marking category labelled “morphology”?
